Rob Zombie loves to do remix albums. He did the very same thing with White Zombie, but you know what? It actually does work for Zombie.
It allows fans of Zombie to hear him played at clubs, or as the title suggests, to strip by.I didn’t think 'Dragula' or 'Superbeast' could actually sound better, or any of the Hellbilly songs could, but this album has proved me wrong.
It’s always weird to hear metal music infused with dance samples, but unlike other remix albums such as Britney Spear’s B In The Mix this works.
And fans will be delighted to hear that filler tracks from Hellbilly Deluxe, such as 'How To Make A Monster'have not only been remixed, but in the case of 'How To Make A Monster', been turned into an actual song.
I guess Zombie realised that he should have done exactly that on the first album.Definite listens to?
This time around, 'How To Make A Monster' is definitely worth listening to, as well as 'Living Dead Girl', 'Dragula', 'Superbeast', (both versions) and 'Meet The Creeper'.
Although I am not a big fan of dance remixes. This is the type of stuff I would love to hear in a club.
I give it 4/5
