Remixes either can be really, really bad and completely destroy all the songs we love, or simply add nothing to the originals. But in this case, thanks to the mastery that is Rob Zombie, this album does neither.
Of course using mixers such as the Dust Brothers, and Charlie Clouser doesn’t hurt either.

I’m not a big fan of dance style mixes, and loathed the Britney Spears remix album, and shuddered at Zombie’s American Made Music To Strip By, but this one actually rocks.
While the songs are still the songs we all love, each one of them has been mixed enough for them to be diverse and entertaining.

I think, for White Zombie fans this is a must, because the songs are different enough to feel brand new.
There is almost an eerie darkness to the remixes, one that suits Rob Zombie and his style.And for those who have never heard the brilliance of White Zombie, it’s also definitely worthy of introducing the band that brought us “More Human Than A Human”.

For a writer, this is the type of dark and mysterious music that gets the creative juices flowing.
